I think it’s okay to criticize and condemn ms. fernandez, but i’m not in favor of getting her fired. getting her fired let’s her off the hook too easily. baka maging martyr pa siya.

i’d rather see her deal with the anger, ridicule and accusations of being a bigot every day habang nasa MST siya. She can say whatever she wants in MST. Free speech rights niya yan. But we too have freedom of speech to show our contempt for her.

Even if Malu Fernandez’s skin has gotten so thick (from repeated splashings of Jo Malone perfume) that she is now impervious to criticisms from indignant readers and decent people around the world, her publishers should not sit idly by.

Arbet, again thank you. It looks really promising so far. We are still receiving the deafening silence from the magazine and the paper, which just further shows their willingness to accept such language within their publication.

If you read her apology, she was actually posting a comment’ I leave that to the politicians in my family’. I was sure it is counter threat hoping it will intimidate people knowing that she has political lineage but now she feel fear of her life. Even the once powerful Marcos cannot fight ordinary people and this bigot is talking againts 10 million OFW.She stays arrogant but I believe she is now afraid of going out. Hi, everyone. I urge you to keep calm, and watch our language. I understand that Malu Fernandez has offended you, but take the high road and be magnanimous. Show that you are better than her, because you people are.

Anyway, she has already resigned from Manila Standard Today and People Asia. She has also issued an apology.

Malu worked full-time as a merchandiser for a hypermart that is run by one of her alleged friends whom she mentioned in that article. This is a hypermart that aims to serve the very socio-economic class that she has belitlled.

Now that she’s out of those publications, she will likely be running back to her friend to work as a merchandiser again.

Malu Fernandez reminds me so much of Ruffa Gutierrez and Gretchen Barretto (minus 600 pounds of course). Ms.Fernandez is almost as shallow as those 2 girls.
